R+ SMARTPHONE VELCRO INSERT
The R+ Smartphone Velcro Insert is designed for the safe transport and rapid use of the smartphone, a tool that has now become indispensable in the personal equipment of personnel employed in search and rescue operations.
ALCANTARA
The MIL-W-5664 or Woven type elasticized band ensures inherently compliant pressure of the contents, for reliable and repeatable retention.
The inside of the pocket in contact with the display is covered with Alcantara® fabric, a microfiber fleece with a suede-like effect, designed to protect the most sensitive part of the smartphone from scratches. The outside, as well as the structure, are made of water-repellent Hypalon fabric, which does not absorb liquids and is easily washable.
VELCRO
The Velcro® Ultra-Mate on the back, together with the Velcro® Velour on the front, allows the pocket to be attached inside, or on the back, of the R+ Modular Reconnaissance Task Bag , as well as on the back of the R+ Extension Side Wings +3 .
OPTIONAL BLOCK
The R+ Smartphone Velcro Insert comes without any upper retention system.
If additional retention is needed for helicopter or rope access applications, the Elastic Open Top Pullers Kit or the 5.11 Pouch Bungee Kits sold separately can be applied.
This pocket integrates a right/left elastic cord anchoring system without eyelets or other bulky elements, which, together with the semi-rigid structure of the body of the pocket, is particularly effective in the operation of reinserting the smartphone.
