ANNIVERSARY SET

Fallkniven celebrates its 40 years on the international market by releasing a special version of the F1 survival knife.

Reforged in Elmax, the highest grade of Swedish powder steel.
The display box also included a DC4 stone to keep the knife sharp, a commemorative crest and a brochure with the company's history.

THE KNIFE

The Fallkniven F1 is well proportioned and extremely versatile , the secure and comfortable grip together with the hard and resistant blade make it incredible for both everyday work and more demanding tasks!

The blade is engraved with the company dates and a coat of arms that refers to the Three Crowns, the small Swedish national coat of arms.
In 2024, in fact, it is not only celebrating its 40th anniversary, but also its 25th anniversary as supplier to the Royal Court of Sweden.

THE SHEATH

The Zytel sheath has a two-way locking system that offers a simple, secure and durable way to carry the knife yet remains operable with one hand .

HISTORY

In August 1995, the first delivery of several thousand F1 knives was made to the Swedish Armed Forces , and sales to the civilian market began the following year.

The success was tremendous: for the first time on the world market , a serious survival knife was available without fish hooks, compasses and serrated blade spines and, what's more, also with a blade made of a very advanced special rust-resistant steel.

Instead of cheap standard steels, F allkniven invested in high-quality steels that were stronger and stayed sharp much better , but were also more expensive and more difficult to work with.
On top of that, they made sure that the grip is secure and comfortable even in cold climates .

The F1 model formed the school of modern survival knives and that knowledge, combined with long experience of living in the harshest possible climates in the Arctic Circle, is something they take advantage of when developing their knives .
