The D3t stone is a diamond sharpener to solve any problem in the field
The high-quality diamond stone has the advantage that even when worn it will continue to maintain its flat shape, which is essential when sharpening knives!
ATTACH IT TO THE SHEATH
Unlike the DC4 , which comes with a leather sheath that is also useful as a miniature strop, the D3t comes with pressure-sensitive adhesive tape that allows you to attach it to any flat spot!
The adhesive is extremely strong and will harden permanently within 24 hours.
MAINTENANCE
The D3t does not require any lubrication, but you should occasionally clean it with warm water and liquid soap.
SOME TRICKS FOR BETTER SHARPNESS
For dull knives, use diamond stone to restore the original blade.
No oil or water: place the blade on the stone and move it circularly, raising the back approximately as thick as the blade.
THE MARKER TRICK
Color the edge with a marker , watching where the color is removed as you sharpen you will have a visual indicator of your progress!
CHECK THE THREAD
To check the edge , place the knife on the nail and pull lightly , if it cuts it is sharp enough for most tasks.
