The VariArc-VS mount provides a universal solution for mounting a flashlight on a tactical helmet.
In fact, the support is positioned on the Velcro area dedicated to identification patches.
The lock is forward-facing, keeping the light aligned for the most critical uses.
However, with a firm twist you can lock it allowing 8 different angles.

The footprint is reduced to the essentials and the low profile helps avoid unnecessary and dangerous entanglements.

Resistant to extreme temperatures, dirt, sand, dust etc. includes a Picatinny rail and a Scout light mount.

1. Do not loosen the central adjustment screw before assembly.
2. Attach the light to the Picatinny rail.
3. Mount the base with the Velcro on the helmet.
4. Check the rotation after installation and tighten the center screw to adjust the release force.

SCOUT

1. Remove the Picatinny mount by unscrewing the central screw.
2. Save the cap and wave washer and reassemble them in the same way on the Scout.
3. Screw the center screw through the assembly and Nylon nut, tightening to 4-5 in-lbs.
4. Attach the light to the Scout mount with the supplied screws and Allen key.
5. CAUTION, make sure the screws are the correct length for your flashlight, otherwise use your own.
6. Tighten the screws according to the manufacturer's specifications.
7. Mount the Velcro base on the helmet and check the rotation angles, adjusting if necessary.

REMOVAL

Velcro is extremely strong, use a flat, blunt blade, such as a screwdriver, and pry between the two layers to separate the mount from the helmet.

Caution, do not remove by pulling forcefully as this may damage the helmet's Velcro or separate the helmet's or mount's fixing adhesive.
