Some noteworthy features of the SOF:

1 - Performance Compression Band

Reinforced polyester webbing maximizes compression during application. With a true width of 3.81cm, the high-performance material slides through the sturdy buckle for quick, smooth operation and minimizes pressure loss over time after application.

2 - Slack Indicator Wedge

Sewn into the compression band under the winch, the contrasting wedge offers visual confirmation that you've eliminated all excess band slack. This is a critical step for proper tether application and results in fewer winch rotations required to achieve occlusion.

3 - Rugged Buckle

Designed to remove excess looseness in one smooth motion. The shape of the buckle stabilizes the compression band at any angle of attachment. The sturdy buckle is an advanced, lightweight composite design with higher strength than previous ones.

4 - High-Strength Aluminum Windlass

Machined from a bar of aeronautical aluminum, the 13.97 cm winch features tapered ends and a texture that facilitates the grip for constant twisting. Its anodized finish minimizes wear from environmental elements for increased durability.

5 - Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip™ (TRAC)

Conveniently holds the winch in place until it can be secured into the Tri-Ring Lock. The Trac offers stable maneuverability during difficult applications and improves control of one-handed movements.

6 - Tri-Ring Lock

Complete the tether application by securing the winch into the three-ring block. It can be easily operated with one hand and prevents the winch from moving during patient movements.

7 - Time Tag

A label to document the time the tourniquet was applied.
