When you leave home and want to have a grand adventure, you know that something could also go wrong. Being ready in these cases is essential and it all starts with the right equipment.

The Med Pouch pocket compatible with all AMP backpacks is specific for a first aid medical kit.

It was designed in three sections that unfold immediately upon opening, which occurs by pulling the red handle. When you open the Med Pouch you immediately have access to what you need, thanks to the transparent vinyl panels.

The medical kit pocket is equipped, like all Gear Sets , with a Velcro back. This allows you to quickly remove the pocket from the backpack and carry it where you need it.

For the same reason you can attach it inside the backpack , but in the upper part, so that you can find it immediately even without carrying it exposed.

The Med Pouch features a high visibility reflective insert and a Velcro panel for a blood type or name patch.

THREE DISTINCT SECTIONS

Med Pouch Gear Set of 5.11 for first aid medical kit

The Med Pouch is made in three distinct sections , for the organization of medical supplies based on the type of emergency.

The clear vinyl top pocket is free and can hold several bulky items such as Israeli bandages and swabs for bleeding control.

The central pocket is always in vinyl but the interior is equipped with elastic bands for devices such as intubation cannulas.

The lower flap is equipped with elastic bands of different sizes to block scissors, needles, etc. On the back it has a lockable mesh pocket with zip for small objects.

HOW I ORGANIZE IT

For my adventures I fill it with the aids that I know how to use and with some small additions that can be useful if a doctor is also present to assist the injured person.

Note: I am not a specialized operator and the following is only intended to share how I organize this pocket.

Note 2: I had to take photos and I removed some stuff but don't fill your pockets too much or taking out what you need will be difficult.

In the top pocket I put everything I carry for the control of serious bleeding. This is an aspect that should never be left to chance!

On one side of the Flap there is space for tweezers, scissors, sticks for insect bites and similar objects.

Medical scissors above all , I like to have them ready immediately to free the area from clothes.

PATCHES AND MEDICINE

It's true that in an emergency the emergency workers will carry out their tests, but I like the idea of clearly communicating my blood type straight away .

VISIBLE AT NIGHT

If you can't find the mints in the dark and you have to kiss a new conquest at summer camp it can be annoying, but if you can't find the first aid kit it's very serious!
