T911 RESCUE
In 1941 at Eluet El Asel, 400 men of the 1st Battalion Royal Parachute Carabinieri assaulted 4 battalions of the British Army.
The Desert Lions, as Radio Londa called them , allowed thousands of Italian-German troops to retreat safely.
This was just one of the countless pages in the history of the Italian paratroopers.
The Tuscania Regiment asked Extrema Ratio to create a commemorative knife for their 80th anniversary.
Thus was born the T911, a mid-sized folding rifle designed for use by operators.
Extrema now delights us with a Rescue variant, characterised by a beautiful high-visibility colour and a serrated blade section dedicated to the most demanding rescuers.
LAMA
The blade has a Spear Point profile and uses the Bohler N690 steel that Extrema Ratio has accustomed us to.
This gives us a multipurpose blade with a high degree of wear resistance and excellent edge retention!
One part of the blade has a serrated area to easily cut ropes or other rather difficult materials.
HANDLE
The anodized anticorodal aluminum cheekpiece has a beautiful high visibility Rescue color to make it easily identifiable even in low light conditions.
Milling allows for easier transition into Reverse Grip.
The locking system is the renowned Liner Lock to which a second manual locking mechanism is added to make the knife even safer to handle!
BELT CUTTER
On the back of the knife, almost hidden, there is a belt cutter, this was designed to allow operators to free themselves from belts and/ or to free any injured persons from their clothing.
The belt cutter cutter is easily available and replaceable.
KNOT UNTIE
Near the belt cutter, on the back, there is a stainless steel knot untie tool, which can be locked in the open position to help you untie any knot even in the most complicated situations!
Also present on the clip attachment is a glass breaker to allow for quick assistance in the event of road accidents and a small screwdriver.
Compact, versatile and sturdy, it is a knife that anyone would want to have on hand in the most difficult situations.
