DD HAMMOCKS - FRONTLINE - Hammock with Mosquito Net

The system is made up of different parts which can also be excluded from the setup you organise, if you need to start off lighter.

Imagine how nice it would be to sleep in a hammock with a mosquito net on a summer night. The only sound you'll hear is your hiking buddy swatting away mosquitoes since he doesn't have a Frontline.

GOOD ALL YEAR ROUND

The FRONTLINE, thanks to its breathable base layer, is excellent for all year round. In summer you stay cool and in winter you just need to add an insulating mattress inside the double bottom or an underblanket externally to have your warm nook and rest well.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE

The DD Frontline is supplied with 5 meters of special rope per side , here's how to assemble it:

Look for trees or supports 4-5 meters apart.
Be sure to loop the rope around the trunk a couple of times.
Tie the first knot. If you don't know how to do fancy tying, a shoelace knot will work.
Repeat the process on the other side.
Let the most unpleasant person in the company test whether your knots hold up with the excuse: "Hey, you expert bushcrafter, do you want to try my new DD Hammock?"
If the hammock holds him and the heaviness of his pioneer speeches, you'll be fine!

ONE HAMMOCK, SEVERAL OPTIONS

This DD Frontline offers different possibilities of use, I want to show you some of them.

This is the complete setup, with the mosquito net closed and sealed at the sides by the zips. You will feel like you are in a bunker and you will be able to make rude gestures to the insects that try to come and taste you.

I call this setup "let's see how it goes", mosquito net ready for an emergency closure! I use it when the area is not particularly full of insects and maybe I want to lie down and smoke a good cigar.

How beautiful winter is and not having to worry about those buzzing beasts. On these occasions you can pass the mosquito net completely under the hammock or lie down on it.

HOW TO GET INTO THE HAMMOCK

Do you really expect me to explain it to you? Well done! This is how you get into a hammock!

Check that all nodes are secure.
Approach the hammock and turn your back, oriented a little diagonally to the hammock.
With one hand, hold an edge towards your knees.
With your other hand, hold the other flap and stretch it towards the back.
Sit down slowly as if on a chair.
Raise your legs and lie inside the hammock.
