VIGTIG VS WILD
Based on the Vigting knife , which thanks to its size is suitable for insertion into the bottle, it has been re-adapted to deal with the most difficult conditions.
LAMA
Made from Magnacut it is acclaimed as the miracle steel , due to the very fine structure and a high toughness and impact tolerance, it has a value of over 62-63 HRC!
Combined with Scandi sharpening and Stonewashede finishing it is ready to take on every challenge, from fine cutting tasks to preparing firewood!
HANDLE
To make the most of the space in the bottle , the Micarta handle has been flattened to the maximum while still guaranteeing a perfect grip even when wet.
But the secret is in the handle itself!
INSIDE
The two large screws can be easily removed with just a coin, revealing a compartment approximately 14mm deep where you can insert tweezers, bait, coal, fishing kit or safety pins.
Even without scales it makes a good impression as a skeleton knife, underlining the versatility of the model!
THE DESIGNER
Wenger grew up fascinated by medieval weapons and armour, until one day using the remnants that his father had in the shop he tried to create his first sword.
He transformed into a Japanese samurai.
While playing, it didn't take long to understand that those swords were short-lived, however, so the father found himself at a crossroads, either talk to his grandfather, a long-time blacksmith or risk losing all the material in the shop.
He opted for his grandfather.
18 years later he got his Journeyman Smith rating from the American Bladesmith Society and in 2013 he founded the Wenger Blades.
