Tools like the Key Defender are only as useful as how well you are prepared to use them. Knowing where it is, how to hold it and release the safety, where the jet goes is all part of the learning and training.

For this reason, there are inert cartridges , loaded with water, which allow you to use your Key Defender without getting kicked out of your house.

HOW TO USE

The DEFENDER is equipped with a self-locking valve and an activation button with safety catch. After pointing the device towards the attacker's face and unlocking the safety catch with your thumb, press the button.

It is recommended to make jets of about half a second. It can be used multiple times. Lift your finger from the button to stop the jet.

IN THE PACKAGE

The ASP KEY DEFENDER comes with its own pepper spray cartridge and two key rings. You can decide whether to use both as a small chain or just one.

EFFECTS

Reaction time to contamination from 1 to 3 seconds - contact with the SPRAY (even accidental) of eyes , respiratory system and mucous membranes , will cause temporary visual impairment , coughing , sensation of suffocation and burning on the skin and, in some cases, nausea . The symptoms will cease in about 45 minutes, the duration is subjective.

DECONTAMINATION

I knew it! You couldn't resist and had to try it on your brother! Here's how to proceed with decontamination.

1. Remove contact lenses and contaminated clothing immediately.
2. Rinse the contaminated area with plenty of fresh water and expose the contaminated parts to fresh air.
3. Wash hands, face and hair with soap and water to remove Capsicum oil.
4. Do not apply creams, ointments, oils or lotions. They can trap the irritant on the skin and cause blisters or minor burns. Continue rinsing with soap and water until the irritant is gone.
5. Contaminated clothing should be washed before re-wearing to prevent damage or irritation to the skin.
6. Some of these operations must be repeated several times before the Capsicum oil is permanently eliminated from the affected parts.

If symptoms persist, consult a doctor but above all ask yourself why you go around peppering people!
