HATKA 12 L

At first glance it may appear to be a simple roll top bag but in reality the Hatka was designed as part of a military transport system.
This small backpack can easily be attached to a larger backpack to expand versatility and capacity. 

PALS BELTS

The exterior of the Hatka features four rows of Pals straps.
These, in addition to allowing the attachment of additional pouches , allow you to quickly attach and detach the bag from a larger backpack by acting on special optional connectors.
Great for example when, after arriving at camp, you want to explore the area without carrying your 20kg Jaakari L.
Detach 4 buckles and you already have another backpack with essential gear ready to use!

FUND

On the bottom there are 4 additional rings that can be used, by adding elastic bands, to carry additional small loads to always keep close at hand.

SHOULDER STRAPS

The shoulder straps are made of simple 25mm webbing secured with D-rings .
This allows for complete removal if necessary and allows them to be replaced with padded ones.
You can also use just one of them by configuring it as a diagonal shoulder strap.
Lightweight and easily compressible, they are ideal when the Hatka is clipped onto larger backpacks.

INTERNAL

The interior of the Hatka is reduced to the essentials!
A single large compartment separated by a fabric divider useful if you want to keep, for example, clothes and electrical devices on one side

D-RING

To keep small items that might get lost safe , there is a D-ring on the inside that you can attach a pocket to hold your EDC .
This way, even if you remove it from the bag, it will still remain connected!

EXTERNAL POCKET

Behind the back of the Hatka is a large envelope pocket large enough to carry a hydration bladder or a blanket just in case.

A BIT OF FINNISH

Hatka is a peculiar word in Finnish, used practically only in the phrase " ottaa hatkat" which means to run away, to retreat hastily.
The Hatka bag is designed for this very purpose.
A small survival and evasion backpack that can be quickly detached from the main operational backpack.
So the name makes perfect sense!

SOME SUGGESTIONS

A really cool way to attach the Hatka to your Jaakari M, L or XL is to use the side compression straps with the PALS mounted SR buckles.
Savotta backpacks are made with side release (SR) buckles from the ITW Classic or 2M WB series. For this reason, the use of female buckles with PALS 2M WB SR attachment is recommended.
You will need four connectors to securely attach the Hatka to the back of your Jääkäri M , L or XL .
