BRAKE Z
By acting on the rope it is possible to increase or decrease the speed of the descent.
Simple to use, it is compatible with the I'D S, I'D L, I'D EVAC and RIG self-braking descenders.
Once turned, it makes the descender unlosable when transferring from the material holder to the ventral attachment.
IN SHORT
- Checking the braking action:
- quick release that allows you to add friction in case of heavy load to better control the descent (rescue situation with two people)
- simple and modular use. The rope can be quickly passed through or out of the braking reference with just one hand
- Easier maneuvers:
- easy passage of the rope into the quickdraw without opening the carabiner
- Keylock system to prevent accidental hooking of the carabiner
- TRIACT-LOCK automatic locking system with triple action unlocking
- compatible for use on harness and anchor.
- Once turned, it makes the self-braking descenders I'D S, I'D L and I'D EVAC (from the 2019 model onwards) or RIG (from the 2018 model onwards) unlosable during transfers from the equipment holder to the ventral attachment point or to the anchor.
