Position the light higher and further forward at 11 o'clock or 1 o'clock, this allows for a more forward support hand position while keeping the light close to the barrel and reducing shadow to a minimum.

The thumb ramp provides the user with a place to rest, making it easier to position and turn on the light.
Made of reinforced polymer, this mount eliminates nearly all compatibility concerns by including everything needed to mount the Surefire Scout 300 and 600 as well as all lights from 0.75" to 1.03" in diameter.
