It is named after one of Hults Bruk's most experienced blacksmiths, Ernst Stalberg who was active in the first half of the 20th century.
SHARP
Made from hand-forged Swedish steel using a forging technique dating back to 1697.
The cutting edge is straight with Scandinavian sharpening to improve precision.
Hultafors is so proud of these cutting edges that they offer a lifetime guarantee on the head of this axe!
HANDLE
There is a recess for your fingers under the head, this allows you a secure grip and greater control while working.
Linseed oil also ensures a firm grip even when wet.
SHEATH
It comes with a distinctive dark leather sheath to protect the edge.
