Why choose the 5.11 Flex TacMed?
For the most important feature: the tear-off opening for immediate accessibility to the medical aids that save your life. All the rest of 5.11's conveniences and ingenious features on this product come later.
How is the Flex TacMed Pouch made?
The front panel allows you to attach accessories thanks to the MOLLE system or apply patches with Velcro.
The handle allows immediate opening and you can decide to lock it at 90° with the retention straps on the sides.
The red elastic bands are essential for keeping the medical supplies organized and the elastic bands on the panel that opens are no different.
The pocket is also equipped with 2 internal pockets with Velcro closure to accommodate those slightly less critical items such as plasters and medicines.
The side elastics for objects such as a medical firefly, a caylume or the peneumothorax needle.
The panel is equipped with a very large pocket that is accessible when fully open.
The magazine wells are adjustable, I find them great for bulkier radios and medical devices.
The external elastic for the tourniquet is essential to really have such an important device as the tourniquet at hand.
The Flex system on the back allows you to attach the pocket to all MOLLE compatible systems or simply to the belt.
The pocket is supplied empty , the images of the medical devices only suggest use.
How do I use the 5.11 Flex TacMed?
Well, I can tell you how to fit inside the medical devices, how to adjust the retentions or how to attach the pocket to a 5.11 AMP backpack, but to know what to do in case of trauma you need to attend special training courses , start by doing an idea with the excellent videos of Enrico Luciolli.
