EXTREME

Estrema is a tactical axe developed for the Navy's Raiders Operations Group.
A historical instrument whose origins and adoptions are lost in time.
Since time immemorial , the axe has combined a work tool and a weapon into a single object.
Its first use dates back to 6000 BC , while the first documented use in war dates back to the distant Etruscans.

But the axe was not only part of Italian culture, with testimonies ranging from Europe to America and even the Far East , perhaps also because it required more basic training than other types of blades.
Extrema Ratio has taken this thousand-year-old tool and reinterpreted it in a modern key , combining tradition with innovative materials and techniques , to obtain a tactical tool suitable for both combat and breaching.
The Extreme is as the name suggests, ready to face any challenge, even the most extreme!

LAMA

Made of N690 steel with a hardness of 54 HRC, it has a dark stone finish to protect it from corrosion.
Thanks to the weight shifted towards the head it allows you to deliver powerful blows without the slightest effort thanks to the leverage effect.

HANDLE

The G10 handle is designed to offer two different types of use.
A more traditional use by grabbing the terminal part in order to apply maximum force.
And one closer to the blade in case you need to do more precise work.

CROWBAR

The end of the tang can be used as a burglary tool or for cutting and opening sheet metal.
The tapering also allows for use as a lever or crowbar.

OPTIONAL HAMMER

An additional hammer made of hardened carbon steel can be attached to the Extreme.
This attaches thanks to a quick release system with a safety catch that prevents accidental releases.
Makes the axe even more versatile!
The hammer is only available on backpacco!

SHEATH

To protect the cutting edge we find a Kydex sheath that offers various carrying options as well as various attachment systems to the equipment.
You can clip it to your belt using the clip or attach it to any MOLLE system using a paracord lanyard.

Retention is ensured by the elastic nature of the material and by a lace that is secured with snap buttons.
To complete the package, there is also an airtight technical case for storage.
