You might be wondering why it's called that, right?
Simply put, Bore Tech has redefined the concept of cleaning by introducing the combination of chemical cleaning action in a cleaner that can visually tell you what type of dirt is in your bore!

Traditional rod polishes rely solely on aluminum oxide granules to remove scale.
This decades-old method turns black regardless of whether the barrel is dirty or clean , leaving shooters with no indication of the barrel's condition.
Chameleon Gel not only cleans scale thoroughly (and in half the time), but it also uses a silica-based polish that creates an activation site that allows for fast, effective cleaning.
But the main thing is that it changes color based on the type of encrustations and even tells you when the pipe is clean!

HOW TO USE IT?

1) With the gun unloaded, moisten 3 or 4 patches with C ₄ Carbon Remover, Cu ⁺² Copper Remover or Eliminator Bore Cleaner and run them through the barrel to remove surface fouling.

2) Use the correct caliber Bore Tech Proof-Positive Jar and Bore Tech X Count Felts or a small sized Bore Tech Proof-Positive nylon brush with a patch coated with Chameleon Gel.

3) Move the rod back and forth in 2 inch increments focusing on problem areas.

4) Observe the color of the cloth.
1. Blue/Green = Copper fouling
2. Black = Carbon fouling
3. Gray = Lead/Molybdenum
4. White = Clean cane

5) Leave the gel to act for approximately 3-4 minutes .

6) Repeat steps as necessary until gel remains white. The barrel is clean.

7) Remove excess gel from the barrel by individually pushing 2 or 3 drops of C ₄ Carbon Remover, Cu ⁺² Copper Remover or Eliminator Bore Cleaner.

8) Use dry patches across the barrel until they come out clean.

9) For storage or in adverse environmental conditions apply a gun oil such as Bore Tech Friction Guard XP.

10) Before using the gun again , run a dry patch through the barrel to remove any residue and ensure there are no obstructions.
